If You Don’t Control Your Leads, You Don’t Have A Business.

This is a lesson I had to learn the hard way. When I got started in the network marketing industry, I got plugged into the marketing system I was using that revolved around purchasing recruiting leads.

Although I was able to build a business rather fast, I built a 1/2 a million dollar a year business in 6 months thru using this system, something just didn’t sit quite right as I was spending more each month that I was earning.

After 2 years, I had to take a step back and evaluate what I was doing, and that’s when I determined that this was no way to build a business long term.

And when I left that marketing system, guess what happened to the $20,000 worth of leads I had bought- I lost them because they were being controlled by the system, not me.

And all that money, all that time and energy spent and I was left to start from scratch.

So one of my top lessons I learned, was you don’t really have a business if you aren’t in control of your own leads.

Is the Law of Attraction all a big Hoax?

I first came across the Law of Attraction when it went mainstream back in January 2007.

I have to say, it was the perfect time. Learning the Law of Attraction and The Secret, made me once again feel empowered that I was in control of my life and I could accomplish anything I wanted.

All I had to do was unleash it from within.

2 months later, my little munchkin, princess, was diagnosed with a “terminal” disease that in fact my cousins’s dog had just suddenly died from months before.

So needless to say, I was scared.

But, I had just seen The Secret and knew that I could heal my dog and I had the power to do so with my mind.

I am happy to report that just recently I received blood work that she is completely normal. I used the Law of Attraction to bring people into my life to help me heal my baby, Princess.

The reason I wanted to share my story of The Law of Attraction is because at a time where the world is suffering, people are in pain, scared and feeling out of control…

I hope that my message will empower people to understand we do have control of our lives, and I want to help people see that.

I have used the Law of Attraction to bring to me people and sales out of thin air.

I can recount one time where I had like 1 hour to qualify for a monthly promotion and all I said was,

Universe send me someone. I will make this qualification.

And within that hour someone I had never spoken to before, contacted me and signed up right on the spot.

I have done this time and time again and so I believe 150% in the power of myself and the law of attraction.

MLM Lies Exposed: MLM Makes Millionaires Overnight

First, I want to be clear. I love the network marketing industry, I believe 150% that you can build a successful mlm business and really use this industry to change your life.

I wanted to share my experience, how I bought into the hype at first and my disappointment in realizing it was not true.

But, when I realized the truth about network marketing- that it’s just a business, plain and simple, I realized it was about building a business long term.

I’m extremely grateful for having found The Million Mind March, Joe Schroeder, Diane Hochman and My Private Classroom.

What I have learned thru working with these two wonderful mentors, is that I just needed to learn and grow.

I learned real marketing. Not the going to family and friends, or buying leads marketing.

And I have worked on my own personal development, prosperity thinking and as a result have been able to build a solid business.

My study is ongoing and as I achieve different levels of success, it’s necessary to continue to work on my prosperity consciousness and developing myself.

So my message is, the network marketing industry is awesome, it’s just MLM doesn’t Make Millionaires Overnight.

MLM is just a business.

If You Haven’t Found Success, You Haven’t Found What You Love.

I was reading from one of my mentors training manuals and he mentioned how when he found what he really had passion for, that’s when he really hit success.

And it’s ironic that I opened to this page and this section out of the hundreds of pages to read from because last night I caught E True Hollywood’s Story on Oprah.

Obvsiously, she’s built an extremely huge empire and is extremely wealthy, but what many people they interviewed for the show mentioned many, many times is that she does what she loves. And that she doesn’t do what she does because of the money.

My own personal experience has been that when I got involved with network marketing 4 years ago, I got started with a company for the income.

And although I built a relatively large business in 6 months, I soon got burnt out and really didn’t enjoy what I was doing. And after 2 years besides lack of marketing training, I just had no drive to continue with that business.

I wasn’t doing what I love and therefore lost any motivation to build it.

So I set off in search of what I loved and once I found it, that’s when real success found me.

I enjoy teaching others, I love empowering others to build the business and life of their dreams and when I’m doing what I love I can do it for hours.

Helping others see their inner strength, their inner being and helping them accomplish their dreams.. that is my passion. I would do it even if it wasn’t my business.

I’m grateful to have found my passion and my purpose.. and my message is..

If you aren’t yet successful, it’s just that you haven’t found what you love.

Decoding the “X Factor” of Successful People.

Yesterday I happen to catch Entertainment Television’s True Hollywood Story and it was about Rachel Ray.

I’ve seen bits and pieces of this THS, but yesterday I got it.

Having learned what I have the past 10 months about marketing, about business building and the real secrets behind building empires it was really interesting how much I have changed and what my perspective is now.

While I was watching this tv show, I was actually coming from a business perspective- you see, I’ve been taught by 2 great people and they always say, study successful people to find out the secrets.

So that’s what I was doing while watching this show, I was studying her, her background and was decoding it as I watched the show.

It’s funny, there were two parts, that rang to clear to me, it’s like a light bulb went off in my head.

The first part was when she had gone on the Oprah show for the first time and after they wrapped filming, Oprah said something to her producers like, “She’s got It”

and that “It” is the X Factor. This one piece that makes the empire.

And another part is when they mention she’s not a professionally trained cook and doesn’t make all her meals from scratch.

The message I got from this is exactly what I’ve been taught, the real secret, the real determining factor behind any successful person- is the It Factor- the X Factor.

Rachel Rays is that she is an every day, girl next door type of gal, who makes quick meals, is this small bubly person who always has a huge smile.

Those characteristics is what her empire is built on.

That’s called, the X Factor. It’s the person’s character, their energy and how they make other people feel.
